Unfortunately, it doesn’t succeed to properly address the so-simple requirement to have SWING-like layout capabilities, and if you try to do so (for example using with Sébastien’s CSS-based library), you will never get a satisfying result.

“…and after all tables are more structure than presentation.” : that’s not me ! someone must have typed this one when I took the shower ;)

That’s kind of the point, but not like you’re thinking. CSS handles the presentation / layout, and the table defines the data semantics, i.e. “I hold a structured grid of tabular data”. A page layout isn’t tabular data. It’s a presentation context… so, exactly the sort of thing css is for.

I would have liked to post a comment on your “Layout manager” post, but it doesn’t seem to be possible. In brief, why didn’t you use html tables to implement the layout since CSS solutions do not address the real problem, that is : build a layout that keeps its structure but also resizes according to the various contents it may host. I understand html tables are not very satisfactory, but since CSS failed to address such obvious expectations… and after all tables are more structure than presentation.

THere is a problem with the way contextmenu works. If i add a submenu to a submenu it goes all funky on me.. any ideas?

@Nebz: trunk version is pretty stable, it’s just missing one or two features available soon. I will say wait for RC1 (within a week or two)

salut,

je poste dans ton dernier sujet, car j’ai peut etre plus de chance d’être vu ds les tonnes de commentaires que tu recois :p Tt d’abord super la class Portal. Vraiment extra. Et comme tu l’auras compris c’est mon sujet.

J’ai un bug de height lors du premier affichage de la page. Certains de mes widgets ne se mettent pas à la taille du contenu. Si je les bouge 1 coup, ils sont ok.

Verrais tu le pb? j’ai encore un peu de mal avec proto et js.. :’(

This lib is really cool, keep it up. I’ll probably even use it in a project that is coming up. I hope it doesn’t meet the same fate as prototype graphics ;)

DUDE! How u DOIN’? IT IS AWSOME! I just tried on IE, when you minimize, the shadow will stay the same. (does not get minimized…). You might already know that.

@Mariano: DarkRat is correct, IFrame window is already support. It’s URLWindow. @Ran: It will be added for sure and with more options :)
